The English Premier League is arguably the most interesting league in the world at the moment, with several teams bidding for the title. At the moment, we have at least five teams who are trying to reach the silverware, making the Premiership incredibly exciting.

Glancing at the experts’ opinions, as well as the bookies’, we can say that at the moment, teams from Manchester have the highest chances for capturing the silverware. City is the no.1 contender with the odds at 4/11, and United comes after the local rivals with 11/2. The reigning champs, Liverpool, is third, 8/1, but if they continue to play as they do at the moment, Jurgen Klopp’s side will have no chances to defend the title. Leicester is fourth, 20/1 , slightly ahead of Tottenham with 22/1. Far behind are Everton, 100/1, Aston Villa 125/1, and Chelsea with the same odds.

Both United and City are looking ferocious lately, smashing and bashing their rivals. The Citizens seem a bit better, even though they have similar results as the Red Devils, but what might be a problem for them is Kevin De Buyne’s injury, with their heart and soul having to skip at least six weeks.

De Brune is the top favorite, along with Harry Kane, to win the Player of the Year award. His and Kane’s odds are 9/2, but after this moment, that will undoubtedly change in favor of Tottenham’s striker. Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United comes next with 7/1, and after him is Son Heung-min with 9/1. Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah is 10/1, and Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish 20/1.

As you can see, Tottenham has two players in the top five POY contenders, and for many experts, Jose Mourinho’s side is a dark horse just waiting to step in once the leading teams make a few mistakes along the way. The Portuguese manager knows how to win titles in England, and is aware of potential factors that might be utilized along the way.

Leicester is one of the most successful clubs in England since Brendan Rodgers took over the wheel, and many hope to see another surprise like the one from 2016 once this side miraculously won the title. Unbelievably poor stretch following the restart last year saw them losing a Champions League spot, but this year they might correct that slip and also go one step beyond. The Foxes have a solid team, with both young stars and experienced veterans, and more importantly, a bit deeper bench than before.

As for the Reds, the reigning champions, nobody wants to give any prognosis. Klopp’s side has numerous injured players, and there is simply no way for telling how they would behave once all are back on the field. They might be rusty, which would see the team from Anfield further falling on the standings, but on the other hand, we might see them putting together some incredible winning stretch, as they did last season.

Mo Salah is leveled with Harry Kane atop the candidates’ list for winning the top goalscoring award. These two guys are 5/2, far ahead of the next contender, and the last year’s top goalscorer Jamie Vardy, who is 5/1. Son is 8/1, and United’s Bruno Fernandes 11/1. The only one left who is near this group is Dominic Calvert-Lewin 14/1.

The next few weeks will be very interesting, as Europa League and the Champions League come back. This could separate serious candidates from those who can’t compete on both fronts, so keep a close eye on all of these teams in the near future. You might find some betting loopholes or something that might help you earn easy money. Whoever accommodates the new circumstances will have the highest chances of winning the trophy and becoming the champion of the most prestigious domestic league in the world.
